Trimmo is online booking, scheduling, deposits, and no-show protection for salons and barbershops — with HST/GST and CAD handled from the first screen, not bolted on later.
Why we built it
Most booking platforms were built for another country and taught to speak Canadian afterward. Tax was an afterthought. Pricing was in the wrong currency. And the fees stacked up on every payment your clients made.
Trimmo starts from the Canadian salon: a booking link you can drop straight into Instagram, deposits and a waitlist that protect the chair, reminders that cut no-shows, and tax that just works. You keep the standard card-processing rate — we never mark it up, and we never take a slice of a booking.
What we believe
A few things we won’t compromise on.
- Canadian by default.
- HST and GST auto-calculate per province, prices and payouts are in CAD, and the tax rules ship preconfigured. The things other platforms bolt on later are where we started.
- Every dollar stays yours.
- No markup on your clients’ card payments — you keep the standard processing rate, and Trimmo never takes a cut of a booking. Monthly pricing that doesn’t change as you grow.
- One link does the work.
- Your booking link lives in your Instagram bio, your texts, your business card. Clients book, pay a deposit if you ask for one, and get reminders — no app, no account.
